Copy Paste Soul - I Need Ya

I found this before MacAnus did but I didn't put in on the blog, silly me.

This is a UK Bass/Futuregargae delight, with sounds of Disclsoure and pioneers before them this track sounds like its been around for a while even on its first listen.

Sub heavy, UK rave inspired broken beat riddims from this unknown South London based producer, Copy Paste Soul. //Released// 12" Vinyl - 10th Sept / Beatport - 24th Sept

Kahn - Angeles

Like many of Kahns previous tracks, Angeles takes a catchy vocal progression, cuts it up and uses it as a coagulant for his liquid synth and understated drums. Pure garage influence on this one, the level of restraint is perfect, with the omnipresence of it about to really kick off throughout the tune, and knowing what Kahn is like with VIP's, expect a punchier reiteration in the future. A solid follow up to the recent Margeaux EP, with a stronger and accessible vibe, it is definately more dancefloor friendly, albeit in a completely different way to the recently (and limitedly) pressed, aptly named Percy.
Dropped a week or so ago digitally, vinyl also out now, release by Bristols Soul Motive. Remix by Superisk on the flip.
